Crossing the milestone of getting admission in your desired college in today’s competitive environment is not easy. There are thousands of students with several skill sets and qualifications trying to make their best way to the college. Just this one 500 word essay can strongly establish your place amongst the qualified students. It is one of the most important documents that you are supposed to submit and if done in the right way your college admission essay will make you the complete package for the college.

The Basics of Quality whitepapers:

Essay is a composition of every individual into his own words with his own writing style and flow. One cannot be instructed on what to write. However, guidelines for writing a proper effective composition can be thoroughly followed. Below given are some vital factors that can make your college admission essay potent and effective.

1. The Quintessence:
It is very important to have an idea behind your essay. An essay without a properly molded idea can mark a poor read. Therefore having an idea and properly composing it into words is the foremost job. Also, brainstorming on the idea you have in mind is equally important. What is in your mind can take thousands of words to be described therefore summarization and selection of the right points to be narrated is an essentiality.

2. The structure:
Structuring your essay properly is the basic rule. Exaggerating your thoughts and breaking the flow of the essay is an improper tactic. It is imperative to thoroughly structure your sentences and paragraphs so that the essay is readable.

3. The Subject matter:
The matter of the essay differs from person to person. Everyone has their own experiences to share and their own accomplishments to talk about. However, what accomplishments to mention and what not to is the core of this game. Your official qualifications are already marked in your portfolio and by adding them it would make no difference. However, in this essay you can add the accomplishments that never had the ground to be officially recognized. There are numerous activities a person does that are not recognized officially so adding them here can tell them what type of a person you are. Also, events that have taken place in your life and how they have changed you could also be a great addition to your college admission essay.

To conclude, the college admission essay is not an abstruse task to go through as it just speaks about you. However, performing this job with the right mindset and skill set is the main point of assessment performed by the colleges.

Processes involved in Website Admission

There are many processes involved in case of website admission. It largely depends on the percentage score of candidate, the reputation of website and the method of selection. After the results are out from high school level, each candidate seeks for the admission in the prescribed way given by the website.
Mainly there are two ways to get a website admission. Most of the times, the admission is based on the merit list. It is prepared in the descending order of percentages received in the website. The merit list is prepared and depending on the percentage of student, there are high chances for the candidate to get an admission in the website.
This type of method is used in case of Junior Websites, as it has the criteria of percentage involved in it. For more higher education, this process is not adopted as number of student intake increases at that time. The people at the website admission committee just admit student till the seats are full, because anyhow they have to fill up the seats in the website.
Another effective method for admissions is the Centralized process, which is carried out at a specific place, and forms are sent to that place. Students fill up the forms, online if available, and send the documents along with the form. The forms are selected on the basis of the preferences made.
These preferences are very important as they require a keen observation of the websites and a good knowledge of putting them. The preferences should be given depending upon the percentage of student and reputation of the website. Most of the times, students give the option of the website, but in the end, they don’t get the website. The main reason for this is the lack of study of preferences. If preferences are given properly, the website admission is just easy.
These two methods of are very useful, as far as the website admission is concerned. The adoption of method depends mainly on the type of education and reputation of website.
So as a conclusion, the website admission should be done on the basis of percentage of the candidate and method of selection mostly.

How to write quality press releases

There are numerous colleges in the world and so are there numerous students.
When you have passed your school and dream to become something you have to join a college. When you go for admission in any of the colleges you are asked to write an essay. A College Admission Essay is what this is!
The selectors will know you only by the way you will express your topic/essay.

We will give you some tips to write your essay.

Pre-writing - Before starting the essay the first step you need to take is to brainstorm.
Take time to brainstorm because this is the most difficult part. After brainstorming create a skeleton for your essay. A skeleton is the outline for your essay. It is not necessary to make it clean and tidy, this will be just for your convenience.

Writing - Have you chosen your essay, you are ready to write it.
Let's say you have chosen a topic - Voting age should be decreased to 16.
Only by the name of it the selector should understand what type of essay it is.
To say, this is a persuasive essay.

The skeleton of your College Admission Essay should look something like this :

• Voting age should be decreased
• Because, even at 16 we have maturity to understand enough.
• So that more people vote and even more young people could go into politics
• As the political leaders should really be strong. That is, strong by mind, power, everything
• You are old enough to sit at your exams and prepare for the future you are old enough to know about taxes and all, you are old enough for knowing everything an adult should know. Moreover, you are expected to behave as an adult at the age of 16. Then, why aren’t you allowed to vote?
• With so many teenagers now working and therefore paying tax, doesn’t it seem right to allow them to vote feel. It is unfair to require those under 18 to pay tax while not giving them the right to vote. It is decidedly undemocratic.
• Some great personality has once said, “To the youngsters of today, these young politicians seem to be a beacon of hope that will lead the World to greater heights in the future.”

Once you are done writing this you should start expanding the sentences

Example- Voting age should be decreased ----> Voting age should be decreased because even at the age of 16 we are mature enough to understand about politics.

Mistakes we make during the Quality press releases -

1) Paragraph structure -
A paragraph structure is the way a paragraph is written. A paragraph should be started with the main idea sentence and should end with the main idea sentence itself.

Here's an example:

I like cats.
I like cats because they are cute and charming, they are also very generous.
(HERE YOU WILL WRITE SOME MORE INFO AND FACTS ABOUT CATS)
I like cats very much.

Here 'i like cats' and 'i like cats very much' mean the same. This is how a paragraph is made.
A paragraph must contain the same starting and ending sentences, when the essay has to contain the same starting and ending paragraphs.

2) Spelling mistakes and/or typos -
The most embarrassing and silly mistakes are the spelling mistakes and also the typos. Typos are the wrong things you write in a hurry even if you know the right part

example - You're a man -----> Your a man.

Spelling mistakes - The best way to stop your spelling mistakes is to read books, newspapers, articles, magazines etc.

Tips to make the Quality press releases better -

1) Use quotations to describe and/or prove things, quotations are the best way to do that.
2) Use a lot of Adjectives if the essay is fictional.
3) Use a lot of quotations if your essay is persuasive.
4) Proof read your essays, one time, two times, three times, keep reading till you stop finding mistakes.

Do not forget the way you present is the way you are and judges select you by the way you are.
So the better the essay the better you.

learning life

“:Mother passed away at 2am.” This is the text message I received on my cell phone at around 7.00am on the morning of 7th Nov 2007, from Sir. To most of us at KMDA, Ms Himani Roy was “Sir’s mother”, till I moved to stay very close to Ballygunje as a paying guest and started frequenting 13/57 Rustomji Street, gradually getting to know “Sir’s mother” as “Dida” (Grand mother) a picture of strength, pose and dignity despite her fragile frame. Dida showered me with her love and care, as I was myself, recovering from the accidental and untimely death of my beloved father in May the same year.

Dida came to know that I was not born and brought up in the state of West Bengal, and that my knowledge of “Bangla” my mother tongue and also the state’s local language was poor. She took a step forward and started teaching me “Bangla,” every weekend for an hour, gave me books to read and tips on how to learn the language fast. Her fees, “that I should learn the language”. Sometimes in her enthusiasm she would strain herself and gasp for breath, which made me wonder of the motivation she must have had in her younger days as a teacher, even though I myself wasn't quite keen on learning the language, though I dare not say that as I had to face Sir in office.

This arrangement continued for months, in the process I became close to the entire household. Sometimes, when I would come late for my class, Dida would be waiting for me, reading a book, with a magnifying glass in hand. Her attendant would sometimes tell me “Dida’s waiting for you for so long”, when I looked at her she would smile, hug me and quietly start teaching me as if it was meant to be just that way. Several times I would refuse to read out lines of the books and insist that she read it out to me, while I thought of some new eatery that had come up in the city. On some weekends I would plan to go and visit my mother (in the suburbs) or just simply bunk (for a date). Despite all her earnest efforts I was not proving to be a good student. So, to make up for that I decided that gifting her a book on her birthday was the ideal thing to do.

Dida had respiratory problems; she suddenly had a severe asthmatic attack and had to be hospitalized. Her case was declared terminal with few days or even hours to go. I was shaken. With just a day to go for her birthday I had already bought the book, which was on languages and life, written in my mother tongue “Bangla”. As I stood by her bedside with the book in my hand, she slowly opened her eyes, saw me and smiled feebly. I was in a trance, in a flash I opened the book and slowly read aloud a few opening lines to her, then I read the summery and explained to her what the book was all about. Tears filled her eyes, and mine too as I sat down beside her and hugged her, begging her to come back. She did, everybody in the household was convinced that I got her back and once again she was her ever smiling, posed and dignified frame. Dida would also introduce me as her last but best student. It was true, despite my reluctance I had not only learned my mother tongue, but also about life and living it.

Today as I live with my husband and daughter in the southern part of India, I voluntarily teach “Bangla” at a local cultural centre, to anyone who wants to learn my mother tongue and have also learned the local language “Tamil”. It has made my journey easier, comfortable and I have made many good friends for life.

As days went by Dida became more and more fragile and often had to be hospitalized. She was hospitalized again in Nov 2007 and this time did not come back. Dida passed away to the unknown just as she lived life, quietly. The text message also came, waiting quietly in my “Inbox”- to be read. Maybe she meant it to be just that way. I am blessed to be not one of the first but one of her last student. I wrote her obituary in Bangla and sent it to Sir, which was published in the newspapers. Dida will be missed, but never forgotten.

I seek

This has been for long in my mind. The very imposing entrance and the neatly tended stretched lawns, towering Mayflower trees standing guard to the pathway, imposing buildings and bubbling energy moving around in knots to complete the ambience---this is not a narrative of a picturesque locale but the College, I want to seek admission.

The spacious buildings housing various departments from Fine Arts and Literature to Science and Technology to Micro Biology carry the tag of a School for Learning by the very look and I see all the reason to opt for this institution to further my studies.

College education being the most decisive turn in one’s life, the choice made at this juncture will go a long way as the impact would be felt life long. This is one reason why I had to scan for details of various colleges which is in concord to my taste and my prospective appeal. And finally I got what I wanted.

Being a member of the Orkut community and a net savvy youngster, I have been browsing and carefully going through the curriculum, activities, strengths and facilities of many educational institutions and considered the various options on offer.

In my chatting, I learned about scores of colleges. Many of our community members said that their college was good. Some said the other one was better but majority of them said this College was the best and I could not settle for anything less.

Yes, there are some restrictions, but there are some best practices too which made me think that I should give this College the first preference. I am matured enough to take a decision not by just listening to my seniors, friends or cousins but by interacting with people who were/are part of this prestigious institution.

After finishing my Higher Grade schooling, I am looking for admission in your College for my further studies and submit my candidature for Graduation Course with Literature as the main subject, History and Environmental Sciences being the other subjects.

Literature being my main stream and some of the best columnists and authors being in the faculty, I thought it would be good for me to be here and associate myself with them at every given opportunity.

From pre-Shakespearean era to the contemporary literature and the evolving sphere of literature in electronic media, my interests lie in the language, its structure, idiom and phonetics which, in my opinion, are the specialization of the faculty of the institution.

I also had a look of the alumni of various institutions and weighed it to the best of my ability and came to the conclusion of joining your college. Not that I will become as great as the popular personalities your college had produced but just to have a feel of studying in the same place where this X or that Y passed through. Who knows, may be the College may some day take credit of passing me out, when I am famous!!!

HOW DO I GET

Is it possible for me to enter to that famous college? Can I pass the screening test for the profession I wanted? Can we pay my entrance fee and other fees for my studies? How will I convince my mother and brother with this plan? These are the questions that I always asked myself when graduation was very near.
As graduation was over, there was only two weeks for me to tell my mother my plans. It was not very easy for my mother to allow me to go to that college to take educational course because I know so much our financial capacity. Everyday, I took chances to talk to her and shift our topic to my college education but I failed to tell her. Until one afternoon, I readied myself and tell her my plans. She did not reply at once. After a long silence she said, “Write a letter to your brother about your plan.” After those words, she left silently with sadness in her face.
As we wake up the following morning, she prepared our breakfast which she once do it for me. After breakfast she asked me to talk to her. We talked and she explained the circumstances that we will undergo if I will pursue with my plan. I answered her with my plans to do my best, to pass the college admission test and take chance to work while studying. Once again, I saw sadness in her face and she said, “If only your father is alive.” I tell her not to worry, God is there for us.
I wrote my brother about the plans that I have and immediately, he answered back with a positive support. My mother shaded tears upon reading my brother’s letter and hugged me tightly.
In the university, I met students with nice dresses and shoes taking up screening test. They looked me down and left. I did not mind them. The most important thing to me is how to past the test. After I had the information about taking the test and having my schedule for the examination I went back home and read a lot. I prayed so hard to the Lord to help me pass the college admission test.
COLLEGE ADMISSION ESSAY STARTED A NEW SUNSHINE IN MY LIFE
After three days, we returned to the university to get our examination result. It was a pleasant day from God because I passed the college admission test. There was a separated list besides and my name was listed there. We were instructed to see the guidance counselor. We were asked if wanted to avail the scholarship from the school. She gave us the conditions and benefits. I did not hesitate to accept for I know that was the answer of my prayers.
I worked for the school for three hours everyday in the library as an assistant librarian. While I was working there, it helped me so much. Staying in the library added my knowledge of the use and importance of books. I acquired more patience in reading and scanning books. I gained new friends and up grade my social goal in life. Most of my vacant periods were spent in the library.
Recommendations from school teachers were made for me to join the school organ as one of the writer. I made some writings and reports during my relaxed moment in the house where we were staying. I gathered opinions from friends. We added humors to make my writings fun and enjoyable to read. Some of my writings were quotations, jokes and legends. The legends were mostly from our province. These are the legends of our places told by my dear grandmother when we were left together.
These are the pleasures and blessings that I gained in passing the college admission test

Charles Darwin’s

An admission to colleges had never been a Herculean task earlier. But then, it is Charles Darwin’s , “survival of the fittest ” principle that wins every time . It does hold good in every context of life. The ratio of the literate to the illiterate population in the world has seen a rise over the years. Every kid wants the best quality of education. But since, the seats in colleges are limited, there is a bottleneck issue. The admission council in the college faces a difficulty in short listing the eligible candidates. They are not to be blamed, for who can find a solution when you have a bunch of students with the same eligibility criteria in front of you. This is when the idea of college admission essays came up. Each student would keep a copy of an essay prepared by him/her along with the profile containing the details of the academic, personal and extra curricular backgrounds.

College Admission Essays – The Best way to portray your caliber!

This would be the factor that would draw the line between admission and rejection of the candidate. It is important that the candidate makes her best attempt in the essay and impresses the council. The essay must be an answer to their confusion of why the particular student must be admitted in the college and in what way is the candidate different from the other applicants. The selection of the topic plays a key part in the college admission essay, if not provided earlier. The essay need not be about your personal life. But it has to be in such ways that it showcases that you are different from rest of the lot.
The colleges prefer to have the best students with them. They need students who will hold the status of the college and get good placements .That will enhance the reputation of the college to a great deal. While writing the college admission essays the candidates must make it a point that they express their plans, their long term goals and also exhibit the willingness and motivation to pursue the particular course. It has been found that the academic performance alone is not a measure of the student’s intellect. While writing the admission essay, points like this must be expressed. The leadership skills of the person must be highlighted. The ability of a person to work individually as well as in a team must be pointed out.
Moreover, the candidate must keep in mind that the people evaluating their essay have tons of experience working in this field and they can evaluate how much work has been put into it. It has to be kept in mind that the essay must be genuine. The intelligence of the candidate lies in the fact that he takes most advantage of the situation .Sometimes, the e topic is provided by the college and it is impossible to predict the questions. I remember a question that my friend got for her admission test, “The sex of the number six!”. Stick to the topic, give your best and prove that you are ahead of the rest of the lot.

press release can lead to a sound career

Having attained the right grades and scores, the next step is to get your press release writing right. College press release is one of the most important determinants for your admission which is often taken lightly by students. For an effective essay, you need to be prepared fully with your objectives in place and a thorough research on the institute. To begin with, your essay should sound genuine and interesting right from the beginning. It should narrate the true picture of your experiences and your individuality.

To strike the right chord, while writing a good college press release, you need to remain focused. Most of the institutes are looking at getting the answer to- why do you want to join our college? Answer to this should not be non specific and general. It should not be the one which you plan to use for all the colleges where you have applied. In fact, it should reflect your keenness to join the college, your inclination for the courses offered and your liking for the institution’s ideals and culture. All this cannot be imbibed into your essay by just manipulating information that is available on college’s website and brochure.

For this, it is imperative for you to carry out an extensive research on the college. If possible, visit the college, meet the faculty and students and visit its labs/studios. College authorities are flooded with thousands of college press releases at the time of admissions and in all this clutter the generic mention of your desire to join the institute may just get lost. This is where all your research efforts will set you apart from the rest. It will not only add to your credibility as a serious aspirant but will also act as a mirror to your personality and your values. Most importantly, your aim in life and your interest for the chosen subjects which further reiterates your reason to join the institute should come out clearly in the essay.

A college press release is also a means to judge you, so it is best to shirk from faking. The crack code remains the same. Stick to facts, mention fine points derived from research and your objectives. Last but not the least, do not neglect specified word limit. Remember, not adhering to it, may go against you.

A good college press release written with details and utmost care can help u sail through a cumbersome admission procedure. Keep these simple steps in mind and…Bingo! There you go!

The tool of seo articles, if used correctly can make you shine out in a pool of applicants.

Three questions to ask before you strategize your essay

WHO are you writing an essay for? If is worthwhile to realize that you are writing the essay to impress upon the admissions officers. Hence, it needs to be something that holds their interests.

WHY are you writing this: A seo article helps in clarifying your role, your goals, your interests and your worth to an enterprise which is trying to select you from the masses. Definitely it needs to be personalized or it needs to be something that is linked to you. So if the topic is something like “YOUR” role model, the emphasis should be not on who is the role model but why is it that he is YOUR role model; what are the values that you like in your model. In this way, you are indirectly talking about your own self.

HOW to write this: After a lot of thought and research, finally you arrive at a topic; Select your writing style before writing an admission essay. You can write your essay with some humour, or it can be based on a case study or it can be the traditional SEO article writing style. It can even be promoting a certain concept. I am aware of a student who strongly believed in the concept of “Going Green”, and wrote an essay on this and his role in this concept. She was a winner!
The important point here in writing a seo article is to maintain a balance. For example you can be humorous or critical but at the same time not cross the line. Your essay can be oriented toward yourself but the same time, do not boast too much. Also maintain clarity throughout the essay, be in sync with the topic.
One thing to look out for is grammatical errors or misspellings. If the admissions officer notices that you can not proofread your own document, it is then not a pizza that they would like to select.

So make sure you use of the right topping, if you use the wrong ingredients you know how your pizza will taste like…don’t you?

important landmark

College admission is the single most important landmark in a student’s educational career. This is in fact the point of entry for a student into a professional education. After 12 years of education in a school, learning the basics of Science, Arts or Commerce, a stint in college makes a student expert in a particular discipline. Hence in most of the developed and developing countries the central government takes up steps to educate students so that they can choose the right college, which would help them become a professional of their interest. Many private counselling centres and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) also set up offices and counselling centres to counsel the young minds for selecting the best college of their interest.

How to Choose the Best College for Admission
The following are some important points a student should consider while going for college admission.

Career Interest
Career interest is the single most important thing while choosing a college for admission. One can put in maximum energy and effort in a constructive way to research in an area, he is most interested into. This question answers the stream into which the student is interested in pursuing education. Broad streams of college education could be Engineering, Medical, Pharmacy, Finance, Accounting, Geography, History, Political Science etc. An example of a more detailed stream could be Computer Science, Electronics, Aeronautics, Mechanical, metallurgy, or Civil in an Engineering discipline.

Availability of College in Locality
People never mind to go to a distant place for higher studies, however college education is usually pursued locally. (Higher study in this parlance would mean studies at post graduate level or higher) So, the college should be chosen depending upon the career interest and the availability of colleges in the locality.

Choosing a better college out of two or more in same discipline
While choosing a college out of two or more for study in a particular discipline, factors like reputation of the college, campus environment, hostel accommodation facility, availability of better teaching faculty members, post examination placement assistance are some of the important factors to consider about. Also factors like extra curricular activities, university exchange programs, industry interaction programs are some of the important factors while choosing a college out of two or more in the same discipline. Financials are also an important thing which is discussed in the succeeding section.

Financial Implications
Financials are one of the important things to consider about, while going for a college study. With the frequent changing global economy, the cost of a college education is getting more and more expensive year after year. Also there are expenses involved in the application forms, entrance test or qualifier tests. Most of the expenses are incurred in the payment of tuition fees, library fee, accommodation fees, laboratory fees, mess fees apart from other auxiliary fees. So, while evaluating financial implications, a student having inadequate financial strength should consider availability of scholarships and study loans in order to have a hassle free college study.

WHY COPIES ARE IMPORTANT?

Copies have been inspiring students around the world by providing low priced services, most extensive as well as research in copywriting services since 2001. Several numbers of visitors are seeking help for writing to their copies. This will not be surprising when a person considers how difficult to write this. However, it is very important that it has to be well written if a person wants to join in a particular college or university of their own choice.

WRITING RESOURCES FOR COPIES:
Indeed, a personal statement or essays regarding admission shall be considered as the most critical issue in making up admission in any particular college or university. As admission procedures in all major universities are very competitive, the importance of copies or well written essays cannot be considered as over-emphasized. Though these essays are considered as a very important strategy regarding admission consideration (may be for both under graduate program and post graduate program), some specific requirements will vary depending upon the university.

Apart from the standard academic performance such as GPA, copies are considered as an important aspect of a particular student regarding what they have done, about their communication style as well as the way the student is expressing etc. In simple words, copies are going beyond the academic performances of a particular student behind the application. It can be a better chance to show them as unique. For example if a person is applying for an interview, then it not enough that the person has to submit a resume alone in the company. To make it unique and also in order to make a particular person’s resume to give first priority, then the person has to add a cover letter stating that purpose of approaching the company and other things. Similarly, it is very important to make the copies unique and also to make first priority to the staff members of a particular university.

Every year, thousands of college applications are flooded in a particular university for different programs. In order to overtake and stand first in those thousands of applications, some serious steps have to be taken regarding this copies. You can take advices from experts who are master in English literature program or some other experts who are doing their programs in popular universities. It is a difficult task on how to perform and give the best but still competitions are there in all over the world.

So, making up of some necessary arrangement regarding the copies will make you to get admitted in some of the popular universities. This essay can tell about how potential you are and how you can handle certain things etc. You must not allow the people in pointing out errors or some other opinion about you regarding this issue.
Hence make sure that you give your best in this and all the best.

Title 1.

Cheap Humour

I still remember how many people would say I hardly laughed! A lady was fair enough to defend me when some accused that I never even smiled! Ahhhhh! Well, things have changed very significantly. Humour is one thing I enjoy consistently today, howbeit in privacy most of the time!

I’m not a fan of any of the humour merchants across the country, yet I’d confess very honestly that I enjoy a brand of humour so rich, so satisfying, and most interestingly, the most affordable possible! Yeah, I spend quality time with very little human beings. (They used to fall victims of my tough standards in the past; but no w they are my greatest admirers!)

I bet you’d have the best of humour – very cheap humour - with these innocent, sometimes hilarious fellows!

Title 2.

Everyday Honesty!

Honesty! Naturally, most of us would claim we’re honest people! For me, honesty should imply consistent acceptance of the realities in one’s environment and how those realities could affect oneself and others.

I believe simple simplicity is the core identity of honesty. There and then, we would not deny the challenges that confront the ordinary individual, day in day out! If I would speak on behalf of the individual strolling down the streets of developing places of the world, then I should quest to find out if honesty is indeed part of the modern man’s culture. Ha! Someone is constantly faced with the ordeals of food and water scarcity, housing, security, and much more!

Obviously robbed of simple, every day honesty, the comfortable individual joins forces with an oppressive, exploitative system, to set standards that are good and excellent in themselves, but definitely not borne of a willingness to see even development in the society that belongs to all!

Today, it’s unfortunate that even the sacred institution of religion cannot be said to be characterised by honesty. Where prayers and invocations, for example, are made to appear sufficient for all that confronts the religious man, I see everyday honesty not allowed to take its course. Where the religious individual is not aligned with planning and thorough readiness for the future that must surely come, honesty is not permitted! Yes! Where the religious individual is misled with a false idea of humility, self degradation, and a spirit of disconnect from the rest of the society where he belongs, it would be clearly established before my senses that honesty is disregarded with passion.

I should be honest to state that mankind would never solve all its problems through honesty. But at least the modern man can consolidate on the efforts of heroes past, who would honestly prepare for their own exit and establish unforgettable milestones for the upcoming generation.

The industrial revolution, together with all the scientific, cultural, and socio-economic breakthroughs that accompanied it, were in part the products of the honesty of those who chose to give humanity the best they could. Unfortunately, many a 21st century benefactor of such inventions and discoveries lavishly enjoys same without any substantial amount of honesty resulting in selflessness and thorough commitment towards sustainable growth and development.

The developing nations of the world are my main targets in this struggle. Yes! Africa and other places of extreme hardships can be transformed, at least significantly, if the man of hardship himself would admit the possibilities today and make a simple decision to pay the price of honesty!

Well, as part of my personal contribution to a collective need of everyday honesty, I pledge to employ the power of the pen and the slate, to continually point it out to my world, that there are no substitutes for hard work, thoroughness, dogged determination, and a forthright spirit! Honesty is easier than pretense! Humanity has a great future!

The Allegany County Youth Board

I am not entirely sure how I ended up on the Allegany County Youth Board. I know my parents' friend recruited my mom after an older Board member retired, and he told her to ask me if I had any interest in becoming a youth member as there was no one yet to represent our district. I said sure, but wished I hadn't after the first meeting, during which a bunch of people my parents' age and older sat around discussing 'allocations' and 'subsidies.' "Nothing got done," I complained to my mom afterwards. I had thought politics was exciting; I had thought that there would be fiery debate, patriotic vehemence. I was disappointed, and I didn't want to go back.

I did go back, however. At first it was my mom's nagging that made me go. The more I went, though, the more I understood what people were saying and the more interesting it all was. I began to get a sense of how things worked on a board. I learned when to talk and when not to, and even occasionally added some input of my own. Soon it was I who nagged my mom to attend.

It was in one of our recent meetings that I got a taste of the heated discussions of my initial preconception. A Christian-based organization was requesting a grant to build a skate park and the head of the project was due to present her proposal. Although the Youth Board is a government entity and funded by taxpayer money, it is not unusual for funds to be allotted to religious groups, as long as it is clear that the grant will be used for non-religious purposes. For instance, the organization Youth for Christ receives public money each year for their recreation programs aimed at getting kids off the streets and providing alternatives to delinquent behavior. These projects, including a skate park like the one in question, are separate from the group's religious objectives and programs.

The woman who presented to us was in her thirties or forties and was, a board member told us, "a person of few words." From what she did say it was clear that she was poorly educated, that she was steady in her convictions and sincere in her desire to help, and that she was utterly naive about how to get the money she wanted for her program. It was this naivety, perhaps, that gave painful honesty to her words. We questioned her on whether kids of any faith would be allowed to skate there. They would, but they would be encouraged to "find God." Would there be any religious lessons taught? The lessons were separate; they didn't have to stay for them. They would be at the same place and at the same time, though. Would there be religious pamphlets or posters? Yes. What if a child didn't want to convert? Would they be made to? No, that would be left up to God.

After she left a heated debate ensued. On one side were my parents' friend, my mom, and me; on the other side were everyone else. It seemed clear that this proposition overstepped the line--the director had stated explicitly that it was a ministry. If the proposal were carried out, however, the skate park would be a great asset to her town, and the truth is that pretty much all of Allegany County is Protestant anyway. In all likelihood the skate park/ministry would only benefit the community, and in a town of under 2000 people with nearly 15% of them below the poverty line, they need all they can get.

The ends do not always justify the means. What we seemed to be looking at was the question of whether to endorse a program that promoted a religion. On principle I could not agree with this. Even if in this case the result could be positive, it violated the guarantee of separation of church and state. I believe that any infringement of this, no matter how trivial, undermines the government’s claim to neutrality. Furthermore, we needed to be aware not only of the situation at hand but also of the precedent set for future situations.
But then the decision that seemed so clear to me became hazier. There was more than a month between the presentation and the vote on whether to fund the project. I kept thinking of my experience of the previous summer, working as a counselor at Camp New Horizons. The camp serves kids in Cattaraugus County who have emotional or behavioral problems, often due to poverty, and it is funded by the state. One of the first things I noticed when I got there was the prayer before each meal. This seemed inappropriate to me, since it is a publicly funded camp. I asked returning counselors if the kids were required to say the grace. They gave me confused looks. I explained that I, for instance, am an atheist and would feel uncomfortable saying grace. They wanted to know why it mattered to me if I didn't believe in God. "I don't lack belief in God," I tried to tell them. "I believe in a lack of God." "Wait until the kids get here," they said. "It'll make sense."
After three weeks with those kids, it sure did make sense. Each camper had a story, a strung-out newspaper clipping of tragedy. The only routines they had created for themselves were tantrums, violence, and running away. One girl, for example, would throw a fit between four thirty and five o' clock every day without fail. She would get angry about some minor frustration, sulk for a while, then work herself into such a frenzy that she would have to be restrained. She needed stability in her life, and these outbursts provided routine. Saying grace before meals became part of the pattern of life at camp, and the campers loved it just for that.
They had to make it from one day to the next, and it wasn't going to be separation of church and state that saved their lives. What of it if there was a picture of Jesus painted on the wall of their skate park? They needed routine, focus, and gentle transitions. The simple prayer gave them these. It wasn't out to convert kids or go against their upbringing. By the end of camp, I was the only one converted - converted to the notion of practicality over principle.
And yet, when it came time for the vote, I voted against the proposal. In a way it was a cop out, since I knew that the skate park would win even with my vote against it, which it did, by a narrow margin. I wanted the skate park to be built, but I was concerned about the precedent of funding religious projects. Thankfully, I was able to vote on principle without sacrificing the community benefit. I am still not sure what I believe is right in this case, but at this point in my life I like being unsure. Uncertainty leaves room for growth, change, and learning. I like that.

Valuable tips

By evaluating admission essays, colleges measure their applicants’ abilities. Their creativity, values, knowledge, understanding, perceptions and many more virtues reflects from these essays. In addition, college admission essays show their writers’ language skills in various aspects.

Selecting a topic
Within this backdrop, choosing unfamiliar topics for an essay makes you weak in writing. If you are familiar with the selected topic, you can show your writing ability to impress others rather than writing on a topic that you don’t have much to say about. Therefore, it is better to select familiar topic when you are asked to write college admission essays.

Writing college admission essay is an occasion where you should reflect your knowledge on the selected topic as well as your competency in language maximum. Hasty evaluations, erroneous statistics, insincere remarks, etc reflect your ignorance while grammatical errors, sentence structural mistakes, erroneous spellings, unrelated tones etc gives away your incompetence in the language.

General topics
Normally, there are three respects that colleges want to know about their applicants and college admission essays are given to extract them. ‘Who is the applicant’, ‘why s/he selected the college’ and ‘their creativity’ are the three categories these essays usually focus on. Nevertheless, the way these questions are asked may be changed.

Who are you?
The first category normally asks to give your general description to understand how you evaluate yourselves. ‘What are the values you want to cherish most in your life?’ is a good example of a question this type for a fine college admission essays. It may come in various respects but normally what the college wants is to know you better than your name. Don’t write all your good qualities when you build an essay of this type. Just write about one or two qualities that can explain your character well.

Your objectives
The second category of questions inquires your goals. ‘Why did you select Wembly College for your further studies?’ ‘What is your future aims after the graduation?’ ‘Why did you select this particular stream of studies for your graduations?’ may be given as topics. When you are answering these types of questions, you have to convince them with your reasons. If you go through all the details of your selected college before applying, the questions of this type would not be that hard to respond.

Creativity
The other category of question in college admission essays are prepared to evaluate your creativity. They may be questions to write an essay on a famous personality, your views on national problems, or analytical elaboration on an important event, etc. ‘What are your solutions for the ethnic problems?’ and ‘The most influential personality you like most’ are examples for these types of essays. When you respond to these type of topics, you have to give your in depth knowledge on the subjects. When you write about personalities, don’t put erroneous details about them just to impress your peers and instead always abide to the facts and be creative in your writing.

The Construction Work

It took me years to realize what an extraordinary influence my father has been on my career. He is the kind of person who always has thoughtful discussions about the quality of student life and the main things required for getting admission to a better college. Taking in view my interest in the English writing he wanted me to adopt a writing course. From my school days he has imparted me all the knowledge regarding the constructs in the language, the tense formulations and the grammar basics. I grew up as an expert writer under his influence. I can easily distinguish between the school time essays and the college admission essays. Today I want to share my understanding about the essay writing. While writing is in the best of your mood, keep keen observation with a through background already in mind and correlate the thoughts properly. An essay can be descriptive, narrative or analytical. Like if it is about travel, celebration or custom etc. then it is descriptive. If it is about some ordinary person or celebrity it is narrative and finally if it is based on research cum analysis then it is analytical. The real essence of writing lies in the purpose of writing, choice of the topic, sources used and the linking between the sentences.
In the case of college admission essays the purpose of the writing is the aim to get a privilege to study and enjoy student life in the college of your choice. So, the particular essay should reflect the inherited qualities possessed by you or your intellectual skills. The admission committee is going to access you through your essay and that should be up to the mark with all your specific talents clearly stated. This will solve your purpose as well as theirs too, because with so many applicants to handle, the unique ones will be able to strike the minds of committee members. Now you might be thinking what all does an examiner want in your essay, then the answer is he wants a mixture of qualities like you should be enthusiastic in volunteer activities but at the same time decent in your dealings, you can be an awesome player of soccer but must be good in timely delivery of your assignments. Last but not the least you should be eligible to the course you are opting for that is there should never be a mismatch between the skills you have and the course you chose so in the essay you must highlight your subject base. The examiner should get a view form your paper that studying in the college is not merely a parents dream; rather it is your own passion to be something, tomorrow. Always mention the clubs you played for, the seminars you attended, the dance competitions you won, the trips you were a part of and all sort of extra-curricular activities you did in school. This is all, I have been taught by my dear father and I think this valuable knowledge guided me to write this essay and helped me to explain my points flawlessly. I give all credit to my dear father and I am sure to get admission to my dream college.

FACT- there are alot of college students who are studying in their second or third priority schools because they failed in simple examination such as the CAE. Well, one could not argue less, humans are fallen human beings who lacks peremptiveness on little thing and are more focused on big things (Got the connection when Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit?)...Well, if we are to base such a fact in the Holy Bible, one can say that such a crime of neglecting small things which in turn would be a determinant of greater things to come is indeed a part of our fallen-state consequences, then we have to tell the serpent enough...fool me once, shame on the snake but if it bit us twice, the shame is on us...the reason why Jesus died on the cross is for humanity to re-obtain its dignity...come to think of it, such a complex picture of sacrifice could also suggest that simple and small plannings such as getting ready for College Admission Essay for your Degree-entrance is a part of such a sacrifice...logically and "spiritually" both are suggesting "YES"...

Why to Write a Press release?

Admission officers are often faced with the dilemma of choosing and rejecting applicants-one may have excellent GPA and SAT scores but lack points in extra-curricular activities, or non-academic skills; another may have average GPA and SAT scores but is an average all-rounder as well, the kind who seems potentially productive, or in possession of leadership qualities. That is when Press releases help in weeding.

Many students assume that good grades kick-start a brilliant academic career, until they receive their rejection letters. When an uninteresting Press release lands with excellent GPA and SAT scores, the first possible thought to cross the mind of the evaluating admission officer is “Something is so wrong. I’m not sure this student fits here!” Most universities sieve applications to cherry-pick the best students-not the most hardworking or the most intelligent, who obviously don’t constitute the best, probably because the best students eventually turn out to be the most productive. Best students are ones who have respectable grades, skills, and adequate enthusiasm. What better way to gauge an applicant than through their Press releases, which adequately manifest their personalities, interests, and skills. Lenient and merciful teachers can produce good references, but Press releases can rarely be faked.

How to Write a Persuasive Press release?

Deserving applicants often produce poor Press releases because either they underestimate the significance of it, or because they try to feign a personality they are not. It is true everyone comes with their own share of skills, but what matters is the way they present them on the Press releases. For instance, a Press release that states, “I’m a very good writer. I’ve won many prizes for creative writing and in essay competitions.” is bound to earn a rejection stamp. Whereas one that contains something to the effect, “Writing is a hobby I’ve pursued since childhood. I’ve actively participated in creative writing and essay writing contests, and have also won many a time.” will certainly pass the first consideration. Translation: Presentation is crucial. A good presentation shows skills rather than states them.

Dishonesty can mar presentation. For instance, if you simply state a few fake awards you won for painting in your Press release, it will be outright concluded that you might be shading the truth, even if you’re a really good artist. Plus, when the admission officer profiles you, the truth will be in the air. Rather, if you chose to express your favourite kinds of arts, shades that make good primers, combination colours, etc, you’ll convince the admission officer that you’re thoroughly into art.

Concision plays a pivotal part in making a good Press release. Admission officers skim through countless Press releases and the last thing they require on their desks are pieces of literature, something that requires hours of reading. Most colleges state the world limit clearly in their brochures, so adhering to concision wouldn’t be much of a task.

You may be out to prove you possess a high vocabulary; since the SAT proves enough of that, keep the Press release simple, but not as though you’re writing for chickenfeed. Just make sure your essay doesn’t require the admission officer referring the dictionary too often.

Eventually, proofread the Press release for the occasional grammatical or spelling error. Get assistance from family members, friends, and teachers to tell you the impression your Press release sets about you on them. A little advice can never prejudice your Press release.

“Writing to Win”

(or)
The Power of Pen in acquiring Academic Skills: “College Admission White papers”
Despite the purpose, writing is the fundamental aspect of life. It is an expression of one’s experience, intellect, and analytical skills. No wonder, colleges use a person’s writing abilities to judge his capabilities. ‘College admission white paper’ writing is the first, and the most vital part of the admission process. This helps a savvy student to create a positive impression about oneself, and win the appreciation of the admission committee.
Writing as an Expression of one’s Individuality:
Generally majority of the colleges require an white paper to evaluate the credentials of the student and to decide upon his admission. As far as the mark statements, extracurricular activities, and SAT scores are concerned, it is seldom possible to distinguish among numerous applications. So it becomes essential for the admission offices to evaluate the individuality of a student before granting his admission. The theme selected, the way it is expressed, the channelization of thoughts, and the creativity seasoning the content, differentiates the writer from other students. Therefore understanding the concept of writing and penning it in a unique way is essential.
Strategies for a successful writing:
For a student on the verge of competing their final year in school, application time is around the corner. The academic excellence, and proficiency developed during the school days are put in a nutshell in the white paper he writes. To inscribe a successful college admission white paper, the writer should possess a strategized approach regarding the themes, which he or she would like to discuss. Grammatical errors are a constraint for the smooth flow in writing. A natural flair for writing, backed by adequate proficiency, and an ear for story telling is a must.
The main concern about writing a successful white paper is to relax. The white paper topic should be brainstormed, and the points that flash in mind should be noted down, which can later on be elaborated. While writing, one should be honest about his opinions and feelings. The writer should also make it a point to use distinctive detail which will help to differentiate his writing from that of others. This will help to make his writing stand ‘out of the box’ amidst several other white papers.
The last thing to be taken care of while writing a college admission white paper is proofreading. Manual proof reading done by the writer himself is much better than the spell check feature of Microsoft word. Sometimes, some words might be spelt correctly, but used improperly. These errors will not be disclosed by word spell checks.
Writing an white paper is the most important part in getting admission in any college. A balanced application with superior grades, and test scores, supplemented by a well written white paper has the best chance for gaining admission. College admission white paper is the part of the admission process which does not require any title, or academic qualifications. It reveals the human aspect of the student, and distinguishes him from his counterparts.

Admission Copies

An copy as we know is a short piece of writing expressing the point of view of an author. Basically copies are like novels & can be called as a literary device that expresses anything about everything. Since the copies are smaller than novels, expressing a whole topic or subject is practically difficult.
At the time of neck breaking competition among all spheres of life it is pretty obvious that the student community can’t be left behind. We are well aware of this fact that providing formal & quality education now days has become tuff. But it is the students who feel most of the heat & COLLAGE ADMISSION COPIES are one of them. Yes, they are no normal copies that we write just to get some decent grades rather they are future deciding piece of writings. There is no or at most very little margin of error & the price paid for this error is very high that denial of admission to a reputed collage. Getting entrance to just about any collage is getting tougher because of increasing number of applications day by day. The only way one can make difference in this selection processes is by these copies. It is a great device to show how an individual is different from all others applying.
It doesn’t mean that collage admission copies have to be 1000 words long. It can be even half of it but what really matters is its content & its quality. The quality itself makes the difference. Like all copies it also follows a certain format. The copy must include a title page & the writer’s name. Most important of all is that it should have a nice header. The copy must respect the word limitation that is provided & should follow a certain format & front size. One of the vital points in a collage copy is choosing the topic. The topic can be anything that the writer is comfortable with but what matters is the quality of the content. An applicant should be absolutely clear about the contents. It is best if the copy portray some of the qualities of the applicant that could help in achieving goals in future. Since life is short the collage admission copies must emphasize on why the applicant wants to spend these crucial years in that particular collage, how the degree would help in achieving the goals & the future needs for leading a successful life?
Above all we must present the collage copy keeping in mind the person who would go through it. An admission officer usually goes through hundreds of applications each day, so it is the writer whose quality would reflect in the time devoted by the reader in reading it. The copy must interest the reader from the first word. The reader must fill the importance of the copy.
Hence better the collage admission copies better are the chances of securing admission in good collages & a better guarantee of a secure future.
TOPICS:
1. COLLAGE ADMISSION COPIES: DEVICE FOR A BETTER FUTURE
2. COLLAGE ADMISSION COPIES: A NEW CHALLENGE FOR STUDENTS

potential candidates

College admission is a process through which potential candidates enter colleges. College admissions are based on the entry examination results, application forms and college admission essays.

A college admissions board may be overwhelmed by applicants with qualifying credentials, despite the limited number of vacancies available. Under increased competition, college admission essays may be helpful in the selections, although not always.

A college admission essay represents one’s personality, character and eligibility for the college being applied for. It backs up one’s application forms and helps him/her stand out from all other applicants.

Colleges may set an open topic, where applicants can write on any topic of their choice, whereas others may set single or multiple choice topics. Logic/reasoning, writing and communication skills, language mastery, the candidate’s personality and possible positive contributions of the candidate are commonly tested.

Writing an effective College Admission Essay
Any good essay is as good as the technique, care and efforts behind it. Writing a good and effective essay is a task through which the writer caters for the purpose and requirements as the essay.

Brainstorming
Think of major ideas which can show your competence in writing as well as your personality positively. Gather all ideas as they come across your mind, whether they seem strong or weak, while taking some simple notes. List as much as you can.

Topic selection and formulation
You need to take risk and come up with completely new, unusual and innovative ideas or remain conservative, but with a sense of uniqueness. Formulate a title for your topic and remember that it should fully represent your essay content, strongly capturing the readership attention and showing your exceptionality.

Writing
Look at how you intend to have your work styled up. Sequentially outline all the main ideas, eliminating those that make no sense as much as possible and engaging those that are lacking.
A good command and mastery of the language is vital along side controlled chronology and coherence within or between titles and subtitles.

The tone of your work is remarkably important. Avoid the tendencies of praising the college, sounding braggart or apportioning blames.
Be balanced on your personality, achievements and presentation. Your writing can be serious, funny and attractive at the same time.
Be specific on your ideas and avoid open ended statements. For example, avoid using phrases such as, ‘I will be very helpful to the community as need arises under various circumstances’. It is rather more meaningful to have, ‘I will develop our community farming through providing refreshing seminars, supply of improved mechanized equipment, natural fertilizers and seeds, all at subsidized prices’.

Describing College

Many universities and colleges in the United States and elsewhere across the globe have made it compulsory that each of their prospective students write an copy about their chosen courses of study and why they have decided to go for such disciplines. Students intending to pursue a Bachelor’s , a Master’s, Ph.D., or even some certifications are required to produce a written testament of what they hope to achieve during their period of studies. Many students have found themselves holed up in their attempts to produce the eye-catching copys they hoped would grab their admission officials’ attention and give them the opportunity of becoming students of their selected institutions. How complex an copy’s topic is depends on the kind of studies being pursued, ranging from sciences to engineering, law, medicine, psychology, sociology and even aeronautics. However, the success rate in the number of students actually gaining admission into their chosen, first-rated universities and colleges signalled that some of them have been able to master the art of writing successful copys.
The process of writing these college admission copys are not structurally different from the way traditional or conventional copys are written, only with the exception that the copys must be well-researched, straight-to-the-point, error-free, technical in the sense of presenting the appropriate facts, properly edited and well proofread to remove any grammatical mistakes and misinformation that could undermine its accuracy. More so, students should have spent a lot of time researching the kinds of copys acceptable by their future institutions: this would help them have a pre-knowledge of the format welcomed by such institutions. Many prospective students could not successfully gain admission into the universities they seriously dream of because they had failed to strictly adhere to the rules and advice given about the best approaches required to produce effective copys for their admission into the universities or colleges. This has caused many students to fail repeatedly or else deciding to use the service of a customized copy company.
Are the customized copy companies solving the problems of college admission copys?
It is no more news that custom copy-writing companies have multiplied over the years; however, it is proper to ask if they are actually solving the difficulty prospective students face when they try to enter into universities of their choices.
There is no doubt that some students have become successful by using the service of a custom copy-writing company because of its speed, point-blank contents, accurate editing and proofreading. Relying on samples, these writing companies produce copys that target a particular institution: Take for example, they understand which copys are meant for students wishing to go to Harvard or Yale; and they know which copy should be submitted to a high-flying medical or law school. On top of it, some custom copy-writing companies give pieces of advice on university admission procedures and processing. Even though this service tends to be expensive, but its overall success rate overshadows the thought of being a wasteful expenditure.
